The Walking Dead Novel

News out of New York's Comic-Con: the super amazing The Walking Dead series will inspire three original novels that are set in the "The Walking Dead universe".  Comic writer Robert Kirkman will be working with Jay Bonansinga to create these sure to be great works of Zombie literature.

However this isn't the first time that The Walking Dead has made a leap out of comics. As many of you know, Halloween Night premiers the AMC's live adaptation of The Walking Dead, but our beloved zombies have also appeared elsewhere:
"The novels will mark the second time the world of The Walking Dead has appeared in prose: Kirkman contributed a short story, “Together, Alone,” to the zombie-fiction anthology The Living Dead 2, published last month. "
Keep an eye out for these books that will appear sometime in 2011! Also, issue no. 78 comes out next month!!
